HE HAD promised his godchildren freebies from his latest film instead of buying them Christmas presents – and Jack Whitehall was true to his word.

The 33-year-old comic appears in family movie Clifford The Big Red Dog, and made full use of his star power to secure a host of merchandise for the little ones. He shared this cute snap, left, on Instagram over Christmas, which shows him appearing to feed a cuddly toy version of Clifford to one of his four godchildren.
