The TV has an off button, actually

-

I have a message for all the dim-witted, self-absorbed wokes who have decided the festive romcom Love Actually, starring Hugh Grant and Martine McCutcheon, is unsuitable for viewing.

This movie has brought a lot of pleasure to a lot of people. If you don’t like such films, don’t watch them.

Who are these ridiculous people who are lambasting Love Actually as creepy, sexist and homophobic? It’s one of the best Christmas movies there is, with an amazing cast.

J. Baker, Brighton

I agree with the ‘snowflakes’ who hit out at Love Actually. It’s awful and portrays women as two-dimensional and unable to live without the attentions of a bloke. The storyline is truly bad.

F. Erickson, Oxfordshire

Love Actually was a product of its time and resonated with people. Use the off button if it offends you, and let normal folk enjoy a light-hearted story.

Carole Arnold, Nottingham

I don’t think there’s anything offensive about it, but Love Actually is simply a rubbish movie. Hugh Grant is always in silly films and just can’t act.

Barney Dunn, Hampshire
