MANAGER Paul Warne admits Rotherham are ‘there to be shot at again’ after reclaiming top spot in League One thanks to two goals from Michael Smith that saw off visitors Bolton.

‘It’s nice to be back at the top. We’re there to be shot at again but we feel like we got away with one,’ Warne conceded after his side leapfrogge­d Sunderland to return to the summit by a point. ‘Our game management at the end wasn’t great — it was suicide soccer at times!’

how Gillingham performed, despite a lack of preparatio­n. In a game of few chances, Matt O’Riley drove an effort wide for the home side. Evans said: ‘We had three players who trained for an hour yesterday.’

WYCOMBE assistant boss Richard Dobson praised Garath McCleary after the striker had set up Sam Vokes’s winner. Dobson, who took charge with manager Gareth Ainsworth isolating after a positive Covid-19 test, said: ‘That’s what he brings — he has that little spark.’

HARRY CHAPMAN’S first Burton goal set them on their way to an ultimately comfortabl­e win. Tom Lowery levelled, before John Brayford, Kane Hemmings and substitute Daniel Jebbison wrapped up the win for the hosts.
