Bea’s happy Ezra after

-

GEORGE EZRA enhanced his reputation as one of the nicest men in pop when he put together a surprise video for a young singer.

After Bea Wheeler, the 17-year-old daughter of The White Company founder Chrissie Rucker and Charles Tyrwhitt shirt tycoon Nick Wheeler, uploaded a clip of herself singing George’s hit Budapest, he responded by filming himself doing backing vocals and splicing the two together, left.

George tells me: ‘A friend sent me Bea’s version of Budapest – it came at just the right time in my day. It made me stop and it made me smile.’

Bea, who has more than 200,000 followers on TikTok, said the star’s response was ‘crazy’. But with that sort of online fan base, George may soon have a chart rival.
