The Untouchables

Brian De Palma’s stylish take on federal agent Eliot Ness’s efforts to bring down Al Capone in Prohibition-era Chicago plays fast and loose with the truth. It’s nevertheless exciting, while the cast, including Andy García, Kevin Costner, Sean Connery and Charles Martin Smith (above), is on top form. ★★★★☆
