Well, I can reveal one of the benefits – Zara Phillips’s husband has joined the lucrative after-dinner speaking circuit, charging at least £8,000 per appearance. Not bad for an evening’s work! I don’t suppose he’s giving away any Palace secrets, but would his fee be quite so hefty had Mike, 43, not married into The Firm?
