Sick Phillip out of show

-

COVID-HIT Phillip Schofield will miss tonight’s Dancing On Ice after failing to test negative in time to host the show with Holly Willoughby. He will be replaced by Catchphrase’s Stephen Mulhern.

Schofield took to social media to share his disappointment with the words: ‘Sorry @dancingonice. Have an amazing show @stephenmulhern, it’s SO much fun.’

The presenter, 59, tested positive for Covid last Monday night and was forced to pull out of This Morning during his five days of isolation. Two days earlier he had been to the theatre with his wife Stephanie and their children Molly and Ruby.

It’s the second Covid case to hit Dancing On Ice this year. Happy Mondays dancer Bez caught the virus following his first performance. Meanwhile, singer Rachel Stevens missed the first episode after a wrist fracture and Olympian Kye Whyte had to bow out after a training injury to his knee.
