Clement’s (right) first collection of poems, Outlandish, is published this year. Her writing explores life for marginalised people, so she requests works by John Clare, Elizabeth-Jane Burnett and her fellow Romany poet David Morley.

Damned Lies (Radio 4, 11pm) is the pilot for a series in which Dominic Frisby invites guests Paul Foot, Lucy Porter, Gary Delaney and Janey Godley to separate statistical fact from fiction.

In Ramblings (Radio 4, 3pm) Clare Balding is on Dartmoor with Melissa Harrison, who has a rare condition which means she easily becomes lost.
