Children’s author Dame Jacqueline Wilson gave us the much-loved Tracy Beaker series, and she’s also behind this new four-part drama. Janae Vito (above centre, with Jamelia, left and Lemar, right) stars as Destiny, who lives with her mum and dreams of meeting her dad, the famous rock star Danny Kilman (Lemar, who also provides the music). The problem is he doesn’t even know she exists. ★★★★
