Having sprung from the cast of The Only Way Is Essex to build a career as a successful broadcaster in her own right, Gemma Collins (right) has become one of the most famous people in the UK, known for her big personality.

But now the 41-year-old reality star reveals a very different, private side that she has long kept hidden from view.

For the first time she talks about the inner demons that have tormented her for so long, and the way she has turned to self-harming repeatedly when matters have sometimes got too much for her over the past 20 years.

This powerful documentary follows Collins as she talks to her relatives and her therapist about her struggles with mental health, and we also learn about the wider crisis affecting rising numbers of young people in Britain.
