The Offence

Fresh from finishing with Bond (until 1983 anyway), Sean Connery (above) puts in one of his finest performances in this brutal drama. He plays a burntout detective in a dreary English town who plays a destructive game of cat and mouse with a suspected child molester (Ian Bannen). ★★★★
