The Distant Barking Of Dogs: Storyville

This film was initially released in 2017 but it now feels especially timely. It explores what it means to grow up in a war zone by following Oleg, a ten-year-old who lives with his grandmother in a village in the Ukrainian region of Donbas. Unlike many of their neighbours, they stay put, mainly because they have nowhere else to go. ★★★★☆
