Green Book (2018) BBC4, 9pm

Its Best Picture Oscar may have taken many critics by surprise, but there’s a lot to enjoy in this comedy drama, particularly the performances by Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen (above). They play pianist Dr Donald Shirley and Tony, the working-class bouncer who drives him around the Deep South of the 1960s. ★★★★☆
