Good vibes for Parker
BOURNEMOUTH boss Scott Parker said his side ‘were too good’ for Huddersfield. Jadon Anthony, Jefferson Lerma and Dominic Solanke all scored against their promotion rivals.
The win for Parker’s side opened up a healthy six-point advantage in the automatic places.
‘It was arguably one of our best performances of the season in every facet,’ Parker said.
‘We stuck to the plan and then executed and were very clinical and fluid. It was a big result but a massive performance from us. Huddersfield are a good side but we were too good for them.’
Huddersfield’s 17-game league unbeaten run ended against Millwall on Wednesday and this defeat finished a deflating week.
Their boss Carlos Corberan said: ‘Individually and collectively, Bournemouth were better than us.’
