PM’s rooster of resistance

IT HAS become a symbol of Ukrainian resistance – so a ceramic rooster was the perfect gift for Boris Johnson yesterday.

It is a replica of an artwork by sculptor Prokop Bidasiuk – an image of which went viral on social media in Ukraine after it was pictured standing proudly upright on a cupboard in a bombed-out building. Mr Johnson and President Zelensky were presented with the gifts, right, by a Ukrainian woman yesterday.
