Dave Naylor of MoS dies at 77

DAVE NAYLOR, a former senior member of The Mail on Sunday’s design team, has died aged 77.

From 1993 to 2015 Dave created eyecatching and award-winning news and features pages, as well as many of the paper’s popular special supplements.

Originally from Lincolnshire, Dave, right, moved to London to learn his trade at the Central School of Art, and rapidly built his reputation as a page designer on national tabloids, including The Daily Mirror, Today, The Sunday People and The Sun.

Dave is survived by his wife Raine and stepdaughters Laura and Lucy.
