Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith are back with a new seven-part series of their award-winning twisty tales. The pair are reunited with their old comrade in comedy from The League Of Gentlemen, Mark Gatiss (rear left), as a co-star for the opening episode, also featuring the brilliant Diane Morgan (front right).

Laurence (Shearsmith, front left)) has invited a couple of old uni pals for a reunion: successful medic Callum (Gatiss) and college dropout Darren (Pemberton, rear right), who brings along his new girlfriend Donna (Morgan), under the impression that they’ve been asked to a party on a yacht.

In fact it turns out to be an excursion in a pedalo on a deserted lake. The laugh-out-loud lines come thick and fast before dramatic secrets are revealed, in a stunning curtain-raiser for one of the most dependable shows on TV. ★★★★★
