Dead... agent who hit out at death rumour

FOOTBALL agent Mino Raiola died yesterday – two days after hitting out at false rumours about his death.

The 54-year-old Italian, who was suffering from a lung condition, took to social media on Thursday to say he was ‘p **** d off’ at premature reports of his demise.

But yesterday his family posted on Twitter: ‘In infinite sorrow, we share the passing of the most caring and amazing football agent that ever was. Mino fought until the end with the same strength he put on negotiation tables to defend our players.’

Raiola, whose clients included Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, was renowned for historic transfers and his aggressive pursuit of deals.
