By Simon Jones Super agent Raiola dies
MINO RAIOLA, the football super agent who died yesterday aged 54, left plans in place for the future of his clients.
Raiola represented some of the game’s most high-profile players and brokered some of the biggest transfers, but had been battling illness since January.
His client list included Paul Pogba, a free agent this summer, and Borussia Dortmund’s coveted striker Erling Haaland.
Sportsmail understands Paris Saint-Germain are favourites to sign Pogba, while Manchester City remain hopeful of a deal for Haaland.
‘Mino’s mission of making football a better place for players will continue,’ the agent’s family said yesterday.
