Pujara hundred leaves Sussex victory in sight
CHETESHWAR PUJARA’S fourth century in as many games put Sussex in a strong position in their County Championship match against Middlesex at Hove.
A third-wicket partnership of 138 at five an over on day three between Pujara and Tom Alsop, who was caught at slip for 66, put Sussex on top and set up the possibility of a run chase on the final day.
Pujara hit 125 not out as his side closed on 236 for three, a lead of 270. Sussex’s Ollie Robinson completed a five-wicket return in his first match for four months with figures of 5-66.
