We’re back for further dollops of sage advice on good value food from Chris Bavin, right, now joined by Jordan Banjo, the Diversity star who has carved out a successful career as a broadcaster.

In this week’s opening episode, the duo are off to Glasgow to help Karen and Andy, parents of triplets Alyssia, Poppy and Caleb – the last of whom was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in 2019.

Of course the family have been fixated on his treatment for these past three years, and over that time cooking has understandably become a matter of easy convenience, with an emphasis on ready meals.

Now the task ahead is to show the parents how they can be making healthier and better value choices when they go shopping and planning for the week ahead, highlighting plenty of good commonsense tips we can all heed.
