Our toast to Camilla

-

It was reassuring to read of the Duchess of Cornwall’s liking for baked beans on toast in Tom Parker Bowles’ new series in last week’s You magazine. She might like to consider making a visit to the Baked Bean Museum of Excellence in Port Talbot.

I’m sure she’d be amused to learn the man who runs it changed his name to Captain Beany.

When Camilla Parker Bowles visited Southend she couldn’t wait to try out the local fish and chips, and why shouldn’t she? She seems like a very down to earth woman.

I used to think that the

Royal Family were boring as people, but after reading

Camilla’s Life In Food interview in You magazine, I bet she’s a great laugh. Just imagine the stories she could recount from over the years.
