Next week, the Beach Boy (right) turns 80. As an early birthday present, the BBC is delving into its extensive archive for interviews featuring the innovative composer, musician and producer. Some of his most famous songs will also be played.

In Janey Godley: Still Got It (Radio 4, 7.15pm) the Glaswegian comedian returns to the stage in her home city for the first time in a year. The gig covers numerous topics, including her battles with cancer and controversy.

Sunday Feature: Afterwords – Muriel Spark (Radio 3, 6.45pm) examines the author’s life and work via interviews with friends and fans.
