Speed (1994) ITV4, 9pm

Keanu Reeves and, in a star-making turn, Sandra Bullock (above) take the leads in this smash-hit thriller. Reeves plays a cop trying to save those aboard a bus that will explode if its speed drops below 50mph; Bullock is the plucky passenger behind the wheel. It’s not quite as good as the Father Ted parody, but almost.
