Virginia must ensure justice for all victims
Regarding Nigel Cawthorne’s extract from his Virginia Giuffre biography, featured last week and telling how she was lured in by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and used by other high-profile men, I really hope that Virginia used her large payout to help all the other victims who were involved in this sex-trafficking scheme. It is such a horrible story, and I hope that all involved see justice, not just Virginia.

I’m glad things turned out well for Virginia. She got her dignity back and apparently, a very good man also. We should never feel sorry for Epstein and the others.
A. Gray, Camberley, Surrey
No one should ever have to go through what Virginia went through. Maxwell deserves a harsh sentence.

The article made me shed a tear or two for Virginia.

Cawthorne’s biography should silence any remaining gullible doubters out there. Legal experts would have combed over every word of this book so as not to leave any opportunity for legal recourse.

Articles like this are needed in a world where the rich and powerful think they can do what they like without consequence.

While not condoning Prince Andrew’s part in this affair, who were the other men involved and why are they not being named?
Is it because he was the one with most to lose, or the one with the most money to satisfy her and her greedy lawyers? Far from ruining her life, she seems to have profited rather well out of the whole sordid affair.
Marian Feather, Halifax
I think it best if Prince Andrew just disappears from public life and accepts his own actions are to blame. He is a disgrace to the Monarchy and the country.
Mark Lee, Leeds
Prince Andrew was wrong, but rehashing this affair just isn’t fair to his daughters and family. They don’t deserve the embarrassment, and neither does the Queen. Discretion in these matters should be maintained.
Val Fisher, Tranent, East Lothian
If the story is true, why hasn’t Victoria taken the ‘numerous prominent American politicians, foreign presidents, a well-known prime minister and other world leaders’ to court? By comparison, Prince Andrew is surely small fry.
J. Byrne, Harrow
Where were Virginia’s parents when all of this started? My daughter at 14 years old was never allowed anywhere without me vetting the venue, the friends and the parents. She never objected because she said it made her feel safer.
