DINO MAAMRIA said he was ‘frustrated’ with referee Darren Handley, as his Burton side failed to capitalise on Davis Keillor-Dunn’s opener and had to settle for a point. Morecambe’s equaliser came from defender Ryan Delaney.

DARREN MOORE said he always had confidence in Lee Gregory after the Wednesday forward ended his goalless run with a brace. ‘I said to him don’t get too uptight,’ the boss revealed.

ROVERS boss Joey Barton said Aaron Collins is ‘maintainin­g good consistenc­y’ after his double at Cheltenham. Antony Evans and Bobby Thomas also scored, while Liam Sercombe pulled one back from the penalty spot for the hosts.

STEVE COTTERILL was delighted by his battling Shrewsbury players after Tom Bayliss secured victory for his side. ‘It was a great win in terrible conditions,’ said boss Cotterill. ‘The wind played havoc but we could have put the game to bed by half time, we’ve had some great chances.’ Fleetwood boss Scott Brown admitted his side’s first-half display was far from the levels he expects.

‘It was disappoint­ing,’ he said. ‘The first 45 minutes was a waste of time. Our lads didn’t turn up and there was no pressure on the ball.’

MARK KENNEDY praised his Lincoln side’s defensive display. ‘Football is not about everything that you do on the ball,’ said the boss. The only goal came from Ben House following a corner.
