He’s pelted with fish guts, slime and custard in new I’m A Celebrity nightmare
MATT HANCOCK’S I’m A Celebrity nightmare continued last night when he was doused in fish guts and smelly custard before being pelted with feathers during his third bushtucker trial.
Viewers of the ITV show have repeatedly voted for the former Health Secretary to face the jungle challenges, and he conceded it was ‘predictable’ that he would be humiliated again.
Last night’s challenge was a twist on the quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? dubbed Who Wants To Look Silly On Air? On learning he had been chosen to undergo the task alongside Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner, Hancock said: ‘That was the most predictable outcome. It’s called looking silly on air. It will be me, then!’
Hancock, 44, was forced to eat a sheep’s vagina and a pig’s anus on Friday, while on Thursday he had to face the underwater trial Tentacles Of Terror. Yesterday he and Warner, 23, had to answer six questions in 60 seconds while being pelted with substances including fish guts, custard, brown sauce and slime. However, they managed to win only five out of 11 stars. Afterwards, Warner, said: ‘I’m not happy, man. I’m covered in all sorts and we’ve only got five stars. He [Matt] was doing well until you got me on his team.’
On one question, campmates made a jokey reference to the scandal that rocked Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in 2001 by coughing to encourage the pair to pick the right answer for a question about sports personalities.
Meanwhile, it can be revealed that Hancock’s ex-wife Martha threw a party for her single friends last Thursday to escape the blanket coverage of her exhusband. One guest said: ‘Matt’s everywhere. Martha just wanted to have a nice time and forget about it.’
