Alex Mighten’s 24th-minute goal proved the difference. The ball was chested down by Michael Smith, allowing Mighten to run onto it and rifle the ball home.

Moore said: ‘We showed resilience. We knew we would have to battle.’

SHAUN ROONEY scored a late stoppage-time equaliser to earn Fleetwood a draw. Rooney opened the scoring, before Josh Coburn and Aaron Collins turned the game around for the hosts.

CHARLIE KIRK’S brace was only good enough to earn Charlton a draw. The forward had put the visitors into a 2-0 lead, before Burton hit back through Deji Oshilaja, Tom Hamer and Victor Adeboyejo. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi earned the visitors a draw.

MARK BONNER felt Cambridge showed improvemen­t, despite their failure to break down Bolton after Kyle Dempsey was sent off. He said: ‘We’re delighted to draw, which sounds silly.’

EXETER staged a rousing late comeback with two last-gasp goals. Tim Dieng put the hosts in front, but Jonson Clarke-Harris and Ephron Mason-Clarke replied. Substitute Sam Nombe restored parity, before Jevani Brown scored in injury time.

WYCOMBE boss Gareth Ainsworth was ecstatic after leaving Forest Green rooted to the bottom. ‘We blew them away,’ he said. David Wheeler and Garath McCleary scored the goals for Wycombe.

KIERAN McKENNA said there was ‘disappoint­ment’ in his Ipswich side dropping two points. Luke Woolfenden opened the scoring, with Ryan Broom replying. He said: ‘We scored one of the many chances, but conceded from their only shot.’

KARL ROBINSON believes Oxford’s win over Port Vale capped an ‘outstandin­g’ 12 days that has seen them climb away from the drop zone. Billy Bodin and Matty Taylor both scored twice as the hosts recorded their biggest win of the season.

MICHAEL DUFF hailed his Barnsley side’s perfect away performanc­e. Adam Phillips scored his first league goal for the club and Duff said: ‘The only disappoint­ment was we could have scored more.’
