ARTS BRITISH ACADEMY TELEVISION AWARDS

Romesh Ranganatha­n and Rob Beckett host the ceremony at London’s Royal Festival Hall. Among the acting nominees are Brian Cox (Succession), Steve Coogan (The Reckoning) and Sarah Lancashire (Happy Valley), while shows including The Gold, Big Boys and Slow Horses are expected to do well. BBC1, 7pm

Once again, Chris and Rachel are up to their necks in trouble, this time from a drug dealer. Chris decides to pay him off by carrying out another drug-related crime – you just know that’s something he’ll regret. BBC1, 9pm

TRAVEL ROB AND RYLAN’S GRAND TOUR

Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder, below, are the latest celebrity friends to land a travelogue. They’re embarking on their own version of the Grand Tour, which originally involved upper-class young men learning about culture during a European break. They begin on the canals of Venice. BBC2, 9pm

HISTORY THE LOST SCROLLS OF POMPEII: NEW REVELATION

Alice Roberts hosts a documentar­y showcasing how computer scientist Brent Seales has been using groundbrea­king technology, including artificial intelligen­ce, to decipher fragile ancient scrolls without the risk of damage. Channel 5, 9pm

DOCUMENTAR­Y THE JENNINGS VS ALZHEIMER’S

There was a time when scientists didn’t believe that Alzheimer’s could be hereditary, but that changed after Carol Jennings urged experts to test her own family after several members were all diagnosed with the disease in a short space of time. Carol died in March after being cared for by her husband Stuart, and BBC2’s programme follows their children, Emily and John, while they ponder being tested for the early-onset gene, just as two new drugs are about to be licensed in the UK. ENTERTAINM­ENT THE FORTUNE HOTEL

Stephen Mangan hosts a new game show that’s a sort of cross between The Traitors and Deal Or No Deal. During a trip to the Caribbean, ten pairs of contestant­s must figure out which of them is holding a briefcase containing an early check-out card, and whose has £250,000 in cash inside. QUIZ CELEBRITY POPMASTER TV

A new run of the popular music quiz is preceded by two celebrity editions. This one sees Ken Bruce test the knowledge of singers Toyah Willcox, above, and Kimberly Wyatt, actors Richard Blackwood and Sally Lindsay, and DJ MistaJam. Monday & Tuesday, More4, 9pm

HEALTH ME AND THE VOICE IN MY HEAD

A decade ago, former Hollyoaks star Joe Tracini (son of comedian Joe Pasquale) was diagnosed with Borderline Personalit­y Disorder. He’s since been open about his mental health struggles, which have included addiction, suicide attempts and panic attacks. Now he’s going to try to get to the root of the issue, which he hopes will help him get his career back on track. Channel 4, 10pm

DOCUMENTAR­Y ABUSED BY MUM: THE RUBY FRANKE SCANDAL

The American influencer gained followers with her vlogs about her family life. However, in February this year she was jailed after disturbing facts about her parenting style, particular­ly the disciplini­ng of her children, came to light. HEALTH BETTER OFF DEAD?

As the debate surroundin­g assisted suicide continues, actress and activist Liz Carr is worried that allowing doctors to help the terminally ill die may result in disabled people feeling cornered into making a tragic decision. Here she meets people both for and against new legislatio­n, and finds out how the issue has been treated in other countries. BBC1, 9pm

DRAMA THE GATHERING

New thought-provoking, six-part drama shining a light on parenting teenagers and the impact social media has on their lives. At its centre is a vicious attack on a young gymnast, which the mother of her rival for a place on Team GB uses as a chance to further her daughter’s ambitions. Vinette Robinson and Warren Brown are among the familiar faces involved, but it’s the unknowns playing the teens who steal the limelight. Tuesday & Wednesday, Channel 4, 9pm

TRAVEL HOLIDAYING IN THE 70S: WISH YOU WERE HERE

The concluding programme profiles Freddie Laker, the British entreprene­ur who launched his own airline in 1966. A decade later, his cut-price fares had enabled many families to venture abroad for the first time, with his flights to America for only £59 proving hugely popular. Unfortunat­ely, the big boys didn’t like Laker’s success, and as we see, it wasn’t long before he was grounded for ever. Channel 5, 9pm

DRAMA TOKYO VICE

The drama inspired by the real-life adventures of Jake Adelstein (Ansel Elgort, left), the first US journalist to work for a Japanese newspaper, returns with a double bill. It begins as Jake and Detective Katagiri examine a tape that seems to reveal what has happened to missing club owner Polina. We’re back at Barnsley Hospital where doctor Jake Mullen, below, and a team of nurses have been alerted to an 86-yearold screaming in pain in the car park. Meanwhile, paramedics are blue-lighting in a 54-year-old who’s had seizures at home. Although Paul now appears well, there are too many red flags for the team not to assess him properly. COMEDY INSIDE NO 9

Psychother­apist Blake saves a man from leaping to his death from a bridge. Soaked through and seemingly in need of a hot drink and someone to talk to, the stranger is invited to Blake’s remote house in the middle of nowhere. But is that really a good idea? DRAMA THE KING

The Coca-Cola Company sells two billion each of its plastic bottles and cans of drinks every year in the UK alone. As a result, Coke plays a huge role in the global problem of plastic pollution. REPORT KIDS IN POVERTY: BRITAIN’S SHAME – TONIGHT

There are more than four million children living in poverty in Britain, the highest number for 20 years.

TRAVEL SUE PERKINS: LOST IN THAILAND

The comedian heads to Phuket, the country’s largest island. Making her diving debut in the Andaman Sea, she learns how destructiv­e humans can be to the fragile coral reefs. Perkins also helps with a spot of gibbon matchmakin­g at a local wildlife sanctuary. Channel 5, 9pm

There are plenty of bouts on the undercard first, but let’s face it, the only fight anybody is really bothered about is Tyson Fury’s clash with Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia. Both men are putting their belts on the line, with the victor becoming the first undisputed world heavyweigh­t champion since 1999. MUSIC ELVIS PRESLEY: ‘68 COMEBACK SPECIAL

There’s a chance to see GI Blues at 1pm, Tales Of Rock ‘N’ Roll: Heartbreak Hotel at 10.35pm and Blue Hawaii at 11.10pm, but the pick of a bunch of Elvis-themed shows and films today is this performanc­e, which marked the return of the King, below, to the stage after a seven-year absence. FILM DOG

Channing Tatum makes his directoria­l debut with a comedy drama inspired by his love for his own dog. Tatum also stars as a former U.S. Army ranger who agrees to escort a dead colleague’s hound to his funeral before she’s put down. What happens next will probably come as no surprise, but it’s rather touching neverthele­ss. Ethan Suplee, Jane Adams and Q’orianka Kilcher also appear. Channel 4, 9pm

DRAMA REBUS

There’s no sign of Ken Stott or John Hannah in BBC1’s new take on author Ian Rankin’s beloved Edinburgh police detective. Instead, it features a younger version of the character (Richard Rankin, no relation to the author) and takes us back to when Rebus was a detective sergeant. He’s still tackling terrible crimes, including a personal one involving his brother Michael, who’s become embroiled in something dodgy after struggling to make ends meet after leaving the military. BBC1, 9.25pm

MUSIC LATER... WITH JOOLS HOLLAND

Elbow’s Guy Garvey joins the piano man on his Radio 3 show at midday before appearing alongside his bandmates to promote their tenth studio album, Audio Vertigo. Actress Samantha Morton also drops by, having taken her first steps into the music world with the forthcomin­g LP Daffodils & Dirt. Plus there are performanc­es from Bristol rockers Idles, U.S. country star Lainey Wilson and singer-songwriter Myles Smith. BBC2, 9.50pm
