The Knowsley Social 21st May - 20th June Knowsley Safari

Taking place in the grounds of the internatio­nally renowned Knowsley Estate, The Knowsley Social will offer two months of incredible entertainm­ent, bringing together world-class collaborat­ions with internatio­nal artists for a spring series like no other. Using art production to transform a rural space into a one-thousand capacity Covid19 secure event space, party-goers can enjoy live comedy acts, the renowned Bongo’s Bingo, live music, DJs, plus much more.

Liverpool Biennial 20th March - 6th June Various venues

Get your culture fix with the 11th edition of the renowned Liverpool Biennial, the UK’s largest festival of contempora­ry visual art. This year’s edition, The Stomach and the Port, explores notions of the body and ways of connecting with the world, with exhibition­s from 50 internatio­nal artists located across the city’s leading venues, such as Tate Liverpool and The Bluecoat.

Balticfest

28th - 30th May Baltic Triangle

The first ever Balticfest is taking over one of Liverpool’s most trendy areas over the bank holiday weekend for a three-day mini festival. Taking place in the Baltic Triangle’s finest coffee shops, this completely free festival features Coffee and Turntables DJs, live music from the Liverpool Psychedeli­c Society, record fairs and much more.

Rollerdome

22nd May - 31st December Invisible Wind Factory

What do you get when you combine exercise and well-being with an interplane­tary disco themed roller-skate ring? Rollerdome! This unique, one of a kind roller-skating experience welcomes skaters of all abilities with a series of events with Liverpool Disco Festival’s United Skates. Tasty street food, live DJs and cocktails will top off the experience, and with tickets selling quickly you better get your skates on if you don’t want to miss out.

Ibiza Classics Garden Party Saturday 5th June

Not one for the easily offended, this risky show emits any kind of political correctnes­s, brimming with hilarious jokes about all kinds of terribly funny things.

Swan Song

1st - 3rd July Unity Theatre

This critically acclaimed one-man show stars TV actor, Andrew Lancel, in a bitterswee­t comedy written by Jonathan Harvey. Set at Christmas time in Liverpool 1997, the play follows English teacher, Dave, working through relatable life challenges in a 70 minute performanc­e which promises to make audiences laugh and equally pull on heartstrin­gs.

Brazilica Festival 10th-11th July Across Liverpool

Get ready to shake your tail feathers at the UK’s only samba festival, which will see the streets of Liverpool filled with the spectacula­r colours and sounds of Rio. Celebratin­g all things Brazilian, including samba dancing, glittering floats, street food and even a caipirinha bar to whet your whistle, this energetic festival promises to be a summer highlight.

Circus presents Elrow 24th July
