Museum of Liverpool
The Museum of Liverpool is one of the most striking contemporary buildings on the waterfront and it’s got lots of free permanent displays and a temporary photographic exhibition, Blitzed: Liverpool Lives, showing how Liverpool was devastated in the May Blitz of 1941.
New for this summer is a Liverpool 8 Against Apartheid exhibition - part of the Museum of Liverpool's Our City, Our Stories programme - which reveals some of the strong connections between the city’s Black community, Nelson Mandela and the anti-apartheid movement.
