RALIQUE LEAVES IT LATE FOR WANDS

- By Mark Hunt

THERE was late drama at Hayes Lane as Cray fought back from 2-0 down to earn a replay with the last kick of the match by substitute Ralique Lawrence.

Grays took the lead when Lamar Johnson’s long ball forward brought the Cray defence out and Kieran Bishop reacted quickest to fire a shot past keeper Nick Blue.

Grays added a second against the run of play when Blue’s attempted clearance went straight to Joao Carlos who played the ball across to Jamie Slabber who rolled the ball into an empty net.

Cray got a lifeline in the 67th minute when Lawrence was brought downfor a penalty which was dispatched by Power, before Lawrence added an injury-time leveller.
