CHESHAM United eased past Hayes & Yeading thanks to Joe Iaciofano’s hat-trick.

Jack Smith pulled off an excellent save early on, forcing Lewis Toomey’s effort onto the post only for Hayes to clear.

But Iaciofano opened the scoring, intercepting Hafid Al’Droubi’s long ball over the top and finishing into the bottom corner. Melvin Adesida handed Iaciofano a second with a poor defensive heading on 26 minutes.

Manny Duku hit the post for Hayes after half an hour, but Iaciofano completed his hat-trick in the second half.
