CASUALS FORCED TO WORK

The Non-League Football Paper - - BOSTIK NORTH & SOUTH - By Malcolm Parker

CASUALS finally overcame the stubborn resistance of a welldrilled Sittingbourne side to claim three deserved points.

Casuals were ahead in the seventh minute when Gabriel Odunaike’s cross was diverted into his net by Lex Allan as he was challenged by Josh Uzun.

On 26 minutes the visitors were level when Josh Dorling’s through ball found Mobolaji Dowadu free down the centre and he slotted home.

Three minutes later Uzun’s clever flick found Odunaike, who lashed in a half-volley.

Casuals made the game safe on 67 minutes when good interplay saw Warren Morgan put Clarke through and he slotted wide of the keeper into the bottom corner.

Uzun had the last chance, but his flick was again well saved by Otuyo.
