DIDCOT Town dented Peterborough Sports’ 100 per cent record with a defensive masterclass at the Bee Arena.

In the early stages of the game, it looked like Sports would win quite comfortably as they staged attack after attack and completely dominated possession and territory.

Centre-halves Luke Carnell and Adam Learoyd were rocks for the visitors and the ball seemed like a magnet the number of times they were on hand to mop up and clear.

Didcot did not really create a goalscoring opportunity worthy of note all game, and in truth, until a couple of late Mark Jones efforts, that were met with smooth saves by visiting keeper Leigh Bedwell.
