HORSHAM YMCA are now just one point behind leaders Chichester City after a comfortable 3-0 win at Crawley Down Gatwick.

Alex Barbary opened the scoring for the visitors in the 12th minute before Ollie Moore struck just after the half hour mark to double their advantage.

Dave Brown added a third for the second-placed side with just a few minutes left to seal a result which means Horsham have now won six of their opening seven league games.

While leaders Chichester weren’t involved in league action this weekend, the defeat for Crawley sees them drop two places to 15th. They remain just three points above the relegation zone.

Angmering Seniors are the new Division Two leaders after running out 3-2 winners in their top of the table clash at Rottingdean Village.

Danny Cooper struck a dramatic 88th-minute winner for the visitors after Tom Hamilton and Julian Curnow had scored in response to a Bradley Stevens brace for the home side.

Both teams entered the game with almost identical records having each won all five of their games to start the season, scoring 20 goals in the process.
