DORK­ING pro­duced a stun­ning sec­ond-half come­back from three goals down to share the spoils of their first-ever meet­ing with AFC Hornchurch.

Wands made some good early progress but were un­able to con­vert any of the chances.

And Lewis Spence opened the scor­ing for the vis­i­tors against the run of play on 17 min­utes.

Hornchurch keeper Cal­lum Chafer tipped over a 25-yard vol­ley from Kieran Lav­ery.

And he kept the Wands at bay be­fore Tobi Coker dou­bled the vis­i­tors’ lead on 24 min­utes, af­ter the ball was loose in the six-yard box.

Five min­utes later Nathan Cooper made it three and the vis­i­tors looked very com­fort­able with a three-goal lead at the in­ter­val.

Dork­ing em­barked on the lengthy come­back trail on 49 min­utes, Lav­ery scored his first goal for the club when he con­verted Ja­son Prior’s cross.

Lav­ery had two fur­ther chances mo­ments later as the Wands dom­i­nated the pro­ceed­ings.

Prior got the al­limpor­tant sec­ond goal on 67 min­utes to re­ally put the pres­sure on Hornchurch.

Dork­ing sub JJ O’Sul­li­van im­me­di­ately hit the bar.

And with nine min­utes left, Niall McManus ghosted into the box to slot home the equaliser.
