HARINGEY Borough gained a deserved three points at Whitehawk, thanks to a Joel Nouble hat-trick that included two game-turning penalties late in the first half.

The Hawks were awarded a penalty of their own after eight minutes as Lucas Rodrigues was felled in the box.

James Fraser’s spotkick was saved by Haringey ‘keeper Valery Pajetet, but Fraser followed up to head home the rebound.

Fraser fired wide after 16 minutes. But, 12 minutes later, Hawks keeper Melvin Minter kept The Hawks ahead with a fantastic double save to deny Nouble and Chinedu McKenzie. Five minutes from the break, Nouble was taken down in the box by Minter and equalised from the spot.

Then, on half-time, Michael O’Donoghue was taken down in the Hawks box and Nouble slotted home again.

The second half started as a quieter affair with barely any action of note taking place.

And the visitors sealed victory after 66 minutes when Nouble completed his hat-trick.

Whitehawk defender Harry Shooman hit a great late effort.

But it was deflected for a corner that Haringey cleared to claim a deserved triumph on the south coast.
