STOCKTON TOWN piled more misery on managerles­s Penrith, hammering them 8-0 on Teeside, with Nathan Mulligan scoring four times.

Michael Sweet also bagged four goals as Consett moved top of the table with a narrow 4-3 win over West Auckland.

Hebburn Town endured a torrid afternoon at home against Whitley Bay, as the visitors ran out 4-1 winners with four different scorers finding the target for the Seahorses.

Ashington beat Seaham Red Star 3-1. Chris Youldon’s 19th-minute goal was cancelled out by Dan Wilson, before Ben Richardson and Jack Butler responded with two more goals for the Colliers.

Sunderland RCA won their top five clash at Bishop Auckland 2-1, while Whickham are still searching for their first home win in the league after they drew 1-1 with North Shields.

Recent signing Mark Doninger scored on his home debut to cancel out Ryan Carr’s first half opener.

CONGLETON TOWN’S clash with Padiham was abandoned amid allegation­s of racial abuse and theft.

Hosts Congleton were 3-0 up after 65 minutes when the action was brought to a premature halt.

A club statement read: “The game today was abandoned by the referee.

“The club has reported an incident of alleged racial abuse and theft to Cheshire Police. The club takes this matter very seriously and is committed to working with the league.

“No further statement will be made at this time.”

Second-half goals from ex-Bayern Munich man Dale Jennings, Ryan Cox and Harry Brazel saw Runcorn Town win the third v second contest 3-0 at Silsden, who had defender Dan Illingwort­h sent off for a second bookable offence in added time.

Karl Clair, Jamie McDonald, Tom Peterson and Craig Cairns ensured unbeaten league leaders City of Liverpool continued their hot streak with a 4-0 victory over West Didsbury & Chorlton.

Whitchurch Alport were the big winners, trouncing strugglers Abbey Hey 6-0 on their own patch courtesy of braces for Alex Hughes and Nicky Porter plus one goal each for Richard Bridge and Simon Everall.

Connor Martin pounced with five minutes to play as Irlam pinched a 2-2 draw at Barnoldswi­ck Town, while Josh Nicholson’s brace for Ashton Athletic saw off Bootle 2-0.

A Carl Grimshaw double influenced Charnock Richard’s 4-0 win at Winsford United, sandwichin­g goals from Daniel Reagan and Alex Ralph.

Northwich Victoria won 3-0 at Squires Gate and Litherland REMYCA triumphed 3-1 at Hanley Town.

NORTHERN COUNTIES EAST

YORKSHIRE AMATEUR needed a last minute winner to keep them in touch at the top of the table.

Basement boys Harrogate Railway Athletic looked to have earned a point against the high-fliers after Stephen Smith cancelled out an early Ashley Flynn effort for the visitors.

But with time rapidly running out, Fernando Moke popped up to hand the Ams a hard-fought 2-1 win.

That result kept them in third with the top two also winning.

Leaders Hemsworth Miners Welfare were 4-2 winners at home to Thackley, while nearest challenger­s Penistone Church were 5-2 victors at Goole where Ryan Johnson and Jordan Coduri netted a brace apiece.

Josh Tennant and Josh Vickers also scored two apiece to help guide Hall Road Rangers to a 4-1 win at home to Athersley Rec, but Joe Walton’s double was only enough to secure a 2-2 draw for Liversedge at Staveley MW.

Worksop Town’s Matt Sykes hit a late equaliser, his second of the game, in a 3-3 draw at Knaresboro­ugh Town and the points were also shared at Maltby Main, who drew 1-1 with Garforth Town.

Bridlingto­n Town won 2-0 at Handsworth Parramore, Barton Town were 2-1 winners at Albion Sports and Bottesford Town saw off visitors Eccleshill United 2-0.

UNITED COUNTIES LEAGUE

LEADERS Daventry Town suffered their first league defeat of the season when were beaten 2-1 by visitors Eynesbury Rovers.

Craig Smith gave Eynesbury an early lead before Phil Cassidy levelled, only for Callum Milne to hit the winner with a spectacula­r 30-yard drive.

Holbeach United are just above fourth-placed Eynesbury after their 2-0 win at Desborough Town, their goals scored by William Bird and Jonny Clay.

Romario Martin, Lewis Rankin, Danico Johnson and substitute Charlie Evans netted to give hosts Rugby Town a resounding 4-0 win over Newport Pagnell Town.

Daniel Forbes, Callum Traynor, Alex Morris and Aaron Preston all found the net in Harborough Town’s 4-0 home win over Kirby Muxloe.

Two goals from Harry Millard and one from Scott Coupland, his first for the club, saw Sleaford Town beat visitors Rothwell Corinthian­s 3-0.

Shaun Wilkes and Justin Dowling were on target for Welingboro­ugh Town in their 2-0 home win over Boston Town.

Peterborou­gh Northern Star’s superb recent run ended badly when they went down 6-2 at home to Northampto­n ON Chenecks.

Deeping Rangers’ home game was called at short notice because visitors Oadby Town were suspended by the Leicesters­hire FA on Friday, with club officials declining to comment on speculatio­n it was over unpaid fines.

LEIGH PHILLIPS had the last laugh as Coventry Sphinx clawed back a two-goal deficit to hold leaders Ilkeston Town 2-2.

Jamie Walker tucked away a penalty for the Robins before Elliott Reeves doubled the advantage.

Phillips pelted the post in response before Jackson Downie halved the deficit with a cushioned volley, with Phillips on hand to secure a share of the spoils with six minutes to go.

The damage was limited as secondplac­ed Worcester City got held to a 00 draw at ten-man South Normanton Athletic.

Home captain David Leigh pushed a goalbound effort onto the crossbar and was sent off with 20 minutes left, but George Forsyth missed from the spot.

Lei Brown’s first-half hat-trick gave Highgate United a three-goal lead at Loughborou­gh University, but the students fought back for a 4-4 draw thanks to Ben Last, Joe Boachie, Chris Eneremadu and Merlin Ferrinho.

Sporting Khalsa sit fourth with games in hand after a swift start saw off Romulus 4-2. Lee Chilton, Rico Taylor and Dan Westwood with a double were on the scoresheet.

Ryan Shaw levelled with a minute to go as Boldmere St Michaels bagged a 2-2 draw at home to Lye Town, while Lewis Wilcox scored in the 90th minute as Dunkirk secured the same scoreline at Westfields.

HISTON remain two points clear after drawing 1-1 in their top of the table clash at Stowmarket Town.

Edward Rolph put the league leaders ahead on the half hour, but Josh Mayhew’s second half penalty rescued a point for the home side.

Godmanches­ter Rovers are up to third after a 4-3 home win against FC Clacton.

Jack Chandler netted twice for the hosts with Charlie Bowen and Austen Diaper also on target.

Woodbridge Town climbed out of the bottom three in fine style with a crushing 6-0 win at Long Melford.

Former Sunderland and Ipswich Town man Carlos Edwards struck a hat-trick as the visitors ran riot.

Craig Hughes netted twice for Brantham Athletic and there were further goals from Joe Yaxley, Sam Newson and Dan Rowe as they secured an impressive 6-1 home win against Haverhill Rovers.

Callum Harrison and Jacob Partridge were both on target for Newmarket Town as they fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Framlingha­m Town, while Liam Wales grabbed a brace for Whitton United as they recorded a 5-2 success at Ely City.

On Friday night, Walsham-leWillows moved up to sixth after beating Hadleigh United 3-1 at home.

SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS

BIGGLESWAD­E FC stay top of the Premier Division after a 3-0 win at home to Edgware Town.

Alex Marsh scored twice before halftime to put the hosts in charge, before converting a late penalty to complete his hat-trick and take his personal tally for the season to ten goals.

Tring Athletic stay second and remain unbeaten as they won 3-1 at Arlesey Town.

Ash Campbell opened the scoring with a clever close range finish and he doubled his and his side’s tally when he headed home a left wing cross.

It was that man Campbell who finished the scoring, claiming his and Tring’s third after the break.

At the foot of the table, Stotfold remain winless after losing 5-1 at home to North Greenford United, for whom Lee Armitt grabbed a hat-trick.

Wembley make up the bottom two despite picking up a point in a 1-1 draw at home to Leighton Town.

Danny Watson scored both of Crawley Green’s goals as they beat Harpenden Town 2-1 and Colney Heath won their local derby against London Colney 4-2, with Harvey Scott scoring twice for Heath.

JAKE BAXTER’S double either side of an Andy Crossley goal gave leaders Chertsey Town a 3-0 home win over Colliers Wood United.

Joe Cheeseman and Scott Day were on target for high-riding Banstead Athletic in their 2-0 victory over visitors Guildford City.

In a surprise upset, hosts CB Hounslow United beat Redhill - who were third before the game - 3-1 thanks to goals from Kai Hamilton, Jack Watts and Trent Skapetis.

Camberley Town saw off Walton &

Hersham thanks to goals from Marcus Cousins and Conor Moody.

Jack May helped himself to a double and Darren Blake got the third in Badshot Lea’s 3-1 win at AFC Hayes.

Early goals from Jack Williamson and Jordan Holmes got Raynes Park Vale off to a cracking start against visitors Abbey Rangers. Eoin Fraser hit their third to complete a 3-0 victory.

Josh Uzun scored two goals, including a penalty, and Matt Farrell added the third as Sutton Common Rovers came from behind to beat visitors Horley Town 3-1.

Spelthorne Sports won 3-2 at Knaphill, Sports scoring twice through Tom Neale and once from Sam Rees.

Southall fought out a 1-1 draw against visitors Cobham, while Balham were held to a goalless draw at home to Hanworth Villa.

CHICHESTER CITY are the new league leaders after a 2-0 win at struggling Little Common on Saturday.

Gicu Iordache and Scott Jones were both on target for the visitors as they climbed above Horsham YMCA, who weren’t involved in league action.

Howard Neighbour struck a hat-trick for Pagham as they moved up to third in the league after a crushing 6-0 home victory against Langney Wanderers.

Saltdean United dropped to fourth despite a dramatic 90th-minute equaliser from Josh Jones that saw them draw 2-2 at home to AFC Uckfield Town, while Newhaven fell to fifth after suffering a 4-2 defeat at home to East Preston.

Loxwood secured their first win of the season as they ran out comfortabl­e 5-1 winners at home to bottom side Eastbourne United AFC.

Ben Gray netted a hat-trick for Arundel as they climbed out of the drop zone with an impressive 5-2 home victory against Peacehaven & Telscombe.

Dan Perry and Sam Cole both scored late goals for Eastbourne Town as they beat Broadbridg­e Heath 3-2, there was a 2-1 success for Crawley Down Gatwick at Hassocks and Shoreham lost 2-1 at Lingfield.

HELLENIC LEAGUE

LEADERS Ascot United reinforced their place at the top of the table with a 2-0 win at Windsor.

Debutant Luqman Kassim opened the scoring and Nathan Minhas got the second goal.

John Thomas scored an 82ndminute winner in Fairford Town’s 5-4 victory at Ardley United.

Fairford’s Connor Thompson grabbed a hat-trick with Mason Thompson snatching their other goal.

Replying were Greg Hackett with a double and Tobias London and Jordan Moore one each.

Tuffley Rovers registered their biggest win of the season and their third victory in a row when they beat visitors Virginia Water 6-1. There were two goals for Lee Smith, one each for Ryan Dobbins, Dom Kent and Joel White and a Finn Evered own goal.

Brad Martin scored the only goal of the game as Binfield beat visitors Bishops Cleeve 1-0.

Alex Scott scored twice and Oliver Goddard once as Brackley Town Saints won 3-1 at Flackwell Heath.

Abingdon United went down 3-0 at Lydney Town, with Sam Wines, Lewis Thompson and Ross Gabriel scoring.

Reading City went down 3-1 at home to Brimscombe & Thrupp, who scored through Sam Blackie, Harrison Reeves and a Tom Moran own goal.

Wantage Town fought back from two goals down at home to Royal Wootton Bassett Town to win 3-2, with goals from Callum Wright, Jack Dunmall and Steve Robertson.

LEADERS Beckenham Town saw their 100 per cent record ended by a 1-0 defeat at Corinthian.

Kameron Gyeabour put the Hoops ahead on the stroke of half-time which proved enough to take the points.

Cray Valley Paper Mills hit four first half goals on their way to a 7-1 victory over Hollands & Blair.

Former Charlton Athletic man Kevin Lisbie scored either side of Anthony Edgar’s goal, before Frances Babalola netted a minute before the break.

Babalola made it five early in the second half before Lisbie completed his hat-trick and Edgar scored his second, after Justin Ascheri had netted Blair’s consolatio­n.

In the day’s big game, second-place Chatham Town hit four second half goals to beat third-place Deal Town.

Byron Walker scored twice with Paul Vines and Alfie Sports also on target.

Malik Nosike scored twice to put Croydon 2-0 up at Canterbury City, but the Surrey side remain without a point after City hit back to win 5-2.

Dave Pilcher started the comeback with the first of his brace coming on the stroke of half-time. Liam Quinn, Jordan Casey and James Turner hit City’s other goals.

Erith Town and Crowboroug­h Athletic shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw at Erith Stadium.

Luke Leopard gave the Crows a first half lead, but Dan Palfrey’s first of the season levelled 14 minutes from time.

WESTERN LEAGUE

WESTBURY UNITED’S perfect start continued at Bolitho Park, where Callum Demkiv’s decisive goal midway through the second half handed them a 1-0 victory against Plymouth Parkway.

Willand Rovers remain top of the table after goals from Luke Mortimore, Craig Duff and Brad Ausden led them to an impressive 3-1 win at home to the previously unbeaten Bitton.

Roman Glass St George returned to winning ways at Shortwood United, with Nathan Legge and Ryan Radford each netting twice during a 7-0 triumph against the league’s bottom side.

Buckland Athletic secured their first away win of the season after coming from behind to defeat Clevedon 3-1.

Alex Camm’s 12th-minute opener had given Clevedon the lead, before goals from Charlie Johansen, Ryan Bush and James Richards saw the Devon side complete the turnaround.

Buckland’s win came as part of the Groundhop weekend, which got underway on Friday evening in Brislingto­n, where a hat-trick from George Lloyd helped Odd Down claim a 3-2 victory after they had trailed to goals from Conner Biggins and Clarke Taylor.

Wellington capitalise­d on a flying start to defeat Cadbury Heath 4-1, while Bradford Town’s tough run of form continued after they lost 2-1 at Chipping Sodbury Town.

BASHLEY were 2-1 winners at Team Solent in the Premier Division on a cold and wet Saturday.

A goal each from Harrison White and Sam Jackson handed the Bash victory at Test Park.

High-flying Sholing were winners once again, as they beat Shaftesbur­y 2-0 at Portsmouth Road.

Lee Wort and Dan Mason scored a goal apiece for Dave Diaper’s side.

Alresford Town are back on track with a 2-0 win at Lymington Town.

The Magpies went 1-0 up at the Recreation Ground thanks to former Winchester City man Geoff Dunn.

Liam Hibberd was on target from distance to complete the scoring and seal victory for Richard Luffman’s side

Bournemout­h Poppies came from behind to draw 1-1 at Bemerton Heath Harlequins.

The hosts went 1-0 up and appeared to be heading for all three points before Ali Zintany found the target three minutes from full-time.

Horndean produced the comeback of the day. The Deans were 1-0 down at Fareham Town at half-time, but produced a rousing second-half comeback to run out as 4-1 winners.

STEP 6 ROUND-UPS SOUTH WEST PENINSULA

EXMOUTH TOWN and Cullompton Rangers both recorded 5-0 victories.

Aarron Denny, Nathan Cooper’s penalty, Scott Merritt, Max Gillard and Ace High were the scorers as Town saw off visitors Ivybridge Town.

Rangers beat Elburton Villa by five unanswered goals at Edenvale Park.

Plymouth Argyle Reserves remain top of the table, shooting six past visitors Callington Town on Friday night.

Rio Garside hit a hat-trick to earn the Pilgrims a 6-3 victory after earlier goals from Isaac Burdon, Adam Randell and Klaidi Lolos, though they had trailed twice with Lloyd Russell, Paul McAdam and Kevin McCallion’s penalty finding the net for Cally.

In Saturday’s other Premier Division fixture, Newquay defeated Camelford 2-0 having taken the lead through Louis Price in the first minute.

EAST MIDLANDS

CARL MOORE scored a brace as league leaders Selston defeated visitors Teversal 3-1.

Kane Hempshall added the third, while Ben Cartwright replied.

Ryan Doherty’s first match in charge of West Bridgford ended in a 4-0 loss at the hands of Clifton, who netted through two Jack Reid penalties, Mitchell Williams and Nathan Kelly.

Sherwood stay second after a 4-3 win at Ashby with Jamie York scoring two. Lewis Weaver and an own goal completed the scoring.

Clipstone also scored four at Gedling Miners Welfare, who slumped to a third straight defeat.

In-form Julian Topliss weighed in with another two goals in a 4-0 victory.

Billy Blackshaw’s strike earned the points for Ingles 1-0 against Newark.

Simon Hore and Ryan Smith scored for Radford in their 2-0 win at Heanor, while Rory Smith and Kieran Knight secured victory for Eastwood at home to Graham Street Prims.

Belper were 4-1 winners against Rainworth MW and Barrow Town won 3-0 at Arnold Town.

WEST MIDLANDS REGIONAL

TIVIDALE have taken over top spot again in the West Midland League Premier after pulling off a 3-0 win over local rivals Dudley Town.

Dimitri Brown, Liam Wilkinson and Dan Smith were on target for Tivvy.

Black Country Rangers remain right on Tividale’s heels and they made light work of bottom side Pershore Town after producing a 6-1 success, Liam Hughes hitting home twice with Tom Hill, Brodie Williams, Jake Healey and Kieran Clarke also on target.

Haughmond striker Steve Hole hammered home four goals for the second week running as the Shrewsbury side swamped Hereford Lads Club 5-0. Scott Ryan hit the fifth.

Two-goal Tony Beyai bagged Dudley Sports a welcome 2-1 win over Pegasus Juniors, where the game had to be delayed for 45 minutes owing to an injury to Emmanuel Antwi.
