MIGHTY MOUSE KEV IS BACK...

-

KEVIN NICHOLSON says he was taken aback by the potential at Mousehole AFC, which convinced him to become their new player-manager. The former Torquay United boss has also become director of the Step 7 club’s Endorsed Academy after impressing in training sessions and interviews. Nicholson, 37, has made over 500 career appearances having played both in the Football League and Non-League for the likes of Torquay, Kidderminster, Scarborough and Notts County. In management, he performed a Great Escape with Torquay in 2017, but was harshly sacked the following season after just four games. On joining the South West Peninsula League West Division side, he said: “I am incredibly enthusiastic about the potential at Mousehole. I was taken aback by the club’s footballing philosophy, coaching set-up, use of technology, committee support, infrastructure, fantastic Academy and forward-thinking ambition. I’m incredibly excited to take it all to the next level. I’m also buzzing to be back playing!”
