It’s Tru! The White Tigers re­turn home

THE Na­tional League have ap­proved a re­turn for Truro City to their Treyew Road home pro­vid­ing a sta­dium in­spec­tion is passed.

The White Tigers have been play­ing at Torquay United’s Plain­moor since the start of the sea­son af­ter their ground was set to be re­de­vel­oped.

But those plans have been put on hold un­til at least next sum­mer leav- ing Truro with the op­tion to re­turn to Cornwall which chair­man Peter Mas­ters would pre­fer.

Their last three Na­tional League South ‘home’ games, 100 miles away at Torquay, have at­tracted crowds of 140, 87 and 86 with the club al­ready em­broiled in a rel­e­ga­tion bat­tle.

Mas­ters hopes the club will re­turn to Treyew Road by De­cem­ber 1 with the ground in­spec­tion ex­pected within the next two weeks.
