NA­TIONAL LEAGUE NORTH’S Stock­port County stunned League Two’s Yeovil Town 3-1 on their own patch in the FA Cup First Round.

Jim Gan­non’s brave side fell be­hind af­ter just eight min­utes to Alex Fisher’s header, but star striker Matty War­bur­ton lev­elled things up and then Nyal Bell gave the Hat­ters a half­time lead. Frank Mul­h­ern net­ted a third in the sec­ond half to send Stock­port into the sec­ond round for the first time in nine years.

Else­where, Maid­stone United came from be­hind to beat Mac­cles­field Town 2-1 thanks to goals from Jack Powell and Blair Tur­gott.

Kabby Tshimanga bagged a hat-trick for Ox­ford City, but Tranmere Rovers equalised late on in a thrilling 3-3 draw. Aldershot Town held Brad­ford City 1-1, while FC Hal­i­fax Town forced a re­play at Morecambe and Ebb­s­fleet United drew with Chel­tenham.

MOSES EM­MANUEL was the Bil­ler­icay Town hero as they forced a re­play at Na­tional League side Ch­ester­field.

The Na­tional League South’s Oc­to­ber player of the month, left, struck a su­perb sec­ond half equaliser to can­cel out Lau­rence Maguire’s opener.
