White catches travel bug early

-

HEREFORD top scorer Harry White made a surprise exit from the National League North side to go travelling – only to then sign for Redditch United in the meantime!

The 23-year-old scored four times for the Bulls this season, but has struggled for game time recently following the arrivals of George Lloyd and James Roberts as well as the return from injury of Mike Symons.

He agreed to cancel his contract at Hereford to take advantage of an opportunity to spend some time travelling with his girlfriend, but has agreed to join Southern Central side Redditch before going to play in Australia.

Manager Paul Smith said: “Harry is due to depart some time in January for pre-season.

“We go back a long way, giving him his first taste in adult football. He is a quality striker and will be great to have available during the busy festive period.”
