FRICKLEY Athletic overcame a late red card and near-gale force conditions at Mount Pleasant to end Marske's 13-month unbeaten run at home.

CARLTON Town gained revenge for an early season home defeat with victory at fellow strugglers Wisbech Town.

The strong wind blowing diagonally across the pitch made it difficult for both teams but it was Wisbech who had the best of the early exchanges. However, it was the visitors who struck first after 34 minutes. A long throw found the head of Oliver Clark, and looped over Fenmen goal- keeper Dan Swan and nestled in the far corner.

The lead lasted just five minutes as a Danny Setchell piledriver free-kick from 25 yards levelled it at the break.

With the weather deteriorating during the second half, the game became somewhat scrappy and was eventually decided by another header from a long throw, this time Ben Hutchison the man on target.

Wisbech came close late on but Carlton keeper Jake Steggles denied Sam Murphy.
