Uxbridge’s afternoon got worse as, having lost goalie Norris to injury early in the second period with all three substitutes already made, they forced to soldier on with Craige Tomkins in goal.
He would keep a clean sheet, however, with Jason Hallett having scored the Ambers’ second minutes earlier.
