FOLKE­STONE In­victa made it ten con­sec­u­tive home wins in all com­pe­ti­tions.

The home side opened the scor­ing as early as the sec­ond minute when Scott Heard slipped the ball through to Al­fie Pax­man who slot­ted.

It was 2-0 in the 43rd minute when Jo­han Ter Horst fired into the net af­ter a back heel from In­victa’s record ap­pear­ance holder Micheal Everitt.

The home side then in­creased its lead dur­ing first half stop­page time courtesy of an Ian Dray­cott penalty.

It soon be­came three goals in a five minute spell ei­ther side of half­time when Yusuff made it 4-0 in the 47th minute as he headed in a Josh Vin­cent cross.

Pax­man then struck again to make it 5-0 with the goal of the game in the 58th minute as he hit a spec­tac­u­lar strike from 25 yards af­ter Ter Horst had ini­tially hit the cross­bar.

AFC Hornchurch fin­ished the game with 10 men as Ron­nie Winn was sent off in the 7th minute for a sec­ond yel­low card fol­low­ing a foul on Yusuff. He had ear­lier been booked for a 32nd minute chal­lenge on Everitt.

The vis­i­tors had twice hit the posts through Ge­orge Pur­cell dur­ing the first half with firstly a fourth minute free kick and then a 37th minute shot af­ter Winn had played the ball back. STAR MAN: Al­fie Pax­man (Folke­stone) EN­TER­TAIN­MENT: ★★★★★
