BOLTS BLAST SEVEN GOALS

ASHFORD United kept the pressure on the top two with a convincing 7-0 win over struggling Greenwich Borough.

Tommy Warrilow’s side showed they had plenty of goals in them with all seven of their goals coming from different players.

Danny Parish opened the scoring after nine minutes before Tom Carlse doubled the advantage before the break.

But Ashford really went through the gears in the second half with Mohammed Kamara, Bode Anidugbe, Josh Wisson, Sam Corne, Trey Williams and a stoppage time strike from Usman Adeniji rounding off the rout against the league’s bottom side.

Elsewhere, Joe Tennent’s stoppage time strike rescued a point for Three Bridges at East Grinstead Town in a 4-4 thriller. Two goals from Mitchell Chapman for East Grinstead either side of Brannon O'Neill and Tennent strikes had the game level at the break.

Antone Douglas put Three Bridges ahead early in the second half but they were pegged back a minute later by George Landais. Gregory Cundle thought he had won it in the 84th minutes for the home side but Tennent levelled the game once again.

Ramsgate put in an impressive display to beat Sittingbou­rne 4-0 at home.

Aaron Millbank got the scoring under way after just two minutes and then Kane Rowland doubled the lead on seven minutes as the rout hit its stride.

The game was over as a contest on 25 minutes when Rory Smith made it 3-0 early in the second half and Tom Chapman rounded off the scoring.

Haywards Heath once again struggled at home as Guernsey took all three points at Hanbury to complete a league double with a 2-1 win.

The team were level at the break it was the visitors who took advantage in the 49th minute when Heath didn’t defend a corner and defender Tom Dodds fired in from close range.

The visitors then doubled the lead on 72 minutes and it was a great strike from 20 yards from Tom Dodds that beat Josh Heyburn for his second of the afternoon.

Heath were awarded a penalty on 84 minutes for handball that Callum Saunders converted but it turned out to be just a consolatio­n.

Faversham Town beat Whitstable Town 2-1 with two players scoring against their old clubs.

Jordan Wright put Whitstable ahead before Ashley Miller levelled against his former side.

Then Dave Cook put the Lilywhites ahead and grabbed all three points for the visitors.

Phoenix Sports put in a gritty and discipline­d display to see off

Horsham 1-0 at the Mayplace Ground.

Against the run of play Phoenix took the lead.

Alex Teniola raced on to a ball over the top and bravely beat the keeper in the air before heading the loose ball into the open net. Elsewhere, Hythe Town and

Sevenoaks Town played out a goalless draw as both sides remained mid-table following a lacklustre match at Reachfield­s Stadium.
