Vote your star man at Steps 3&4

-

TITLES are confirmed and the play-off picture is beginning to get clearer – Steps 3 & 4 have returned as gripping as ever from the Covid-enforced break.

All season, the players have provided the entertainment on the pitch and now we need your help to recognise the stand-out star for this year’s Step 3/4 Player of the Year at our National Game Awards, in association with Buildbase.

The winner will be presented with their prize at our ceremony, date and venue to be confirmed soon, as we celebrate another thrilling campaign.

Naturally, there are a lot of players in contention, so here are just a few suggestions.

At Step 3, Jacob Hazel’s 25 goals have propelled Whitby Town to promotion contention in NPL Premier, while Ollie Pearce’s impressive goal tally

for Worthing handed the Mackrel Men a route to Step 2 at a canter.

Recognition

Sticking with those front men who have found the onion bag regularly, Mo Faal has revelled in his return to Enfield Town with another goal-laden season, while Moses Emmanuel’s scoring form is a big reason why Hayes & Yeading are banging on the door of National League South. Goalscoring midfielder Jamie Ward, at Buxton, is another earning high praise, as is Joe Taylor, of Lewes, who is already in possession of one NGA having won the Virtual Isthmian Player of the Year award last time round.

Banbury United have enjoyed a stellar campaign in Southern League Central and much of that is down to talented winger Morgan Roberts and the goals of striker Chris Wreh. Or is there someone else who may have gone under the radar at the Spencer Stadium this season? Centre-back Kelvin Langmead perhaps?

In Step 4, centre-back Dan Bayliss and goal-getter Seb Bowerman have led Bracknell Town to an overwhelming title success in Isthmian South Central, similarly defender Charley Saunders, at Bedford Town in Southern League Division One Central. Sam Adams captained Hastings United to the Isthmian South East crown and deserves to be in the equation also.

Former Tranmere Rovers man Jonny Margetts has 31 goals to his name in NPL Midlands at Stamford (including 18 for Belper Town) as they seek promotion from NPL East.

The choice, as always, is yours, so get your votes in and give your club’s star man the recognition he deserves.
