WORKINGTON blew their chance of winning the West Division title.

The game proved to be difficult for both teams to get in to with high winds making it a poor spectacle in the first-half.

Mossley looked the most likely team to score in the second half and Potts scored the winning goal after 56 minutes with through Angelo Franco.

As word filtered through that Warrington were being held, Workington’s efforts became increasingly frantic, but Reuben Jerome’s late goal was not enough.
