WOKING managed to consolidat­e their play-off place, despite a nervy end after going down to nine men through injury in an exciting encounter at the Laithwaite Stadium.

Injuries late on to James Daley and Charlie Wakefield left the Cards, who had used up their substitute­s, depleted. Wakefield battled on despite an hamstring pull, however the concussed Daley had to leave the pitch.
